CDHCI FAQ

What is CDHCI?
Alberta's Client Directed Home Care Initiative. It funds in-home care for eligible seniors (65+) with complex health needs. Families manage their own care team and funding—no cost to you if you qualify.

Who qualifies?
You must be 65+, Alberta resident, and assessed by Alberta Health Services as having complex care needs. Your AHS assessor will tell you if CDHCI is available to you.

How much does care cost?
If you're CDHCI-approved, care is fully funded by the government. You pay nothing.

Are you CDHCI-approved?
Yes. We're a registered CDHCI provider in Edmonton. If you're approved for CDHCI funding, you can hire us directly.

What's different about an RN-owned agency?
We provide clinical oversight—medication management, care safety, health monitoring. Other agencies use caregivers only. You get nursing expertise at no extra cost.
